I had just gotten to the Chicago area for a week-long stay to celebrate my birthday when I began having issues with one of my molar areas. All morning I called around to several dentist offices trying to find someone who would take my apparently crappy insurance (lol new job and I just picked something for the short-term till benefits enrollment time rolls around in October). Several administrative assistants turned me down until I talked to someone in Dr. Blivaiss' office. She informed me that the Dr. would call me back soon, and when he did he listened to my problem and offered to help even though he didn't take my insurance! He and I worked out a deal with my insurance company and he agreed to see me the next day - even working me in around cancellations. He treated me like any other patient, and helped to alleviate my pain so that I could try to enjoy the remainder of my vacation. I'd recommend him to anybody, any day of the week.
